Busy Fall

Have been participating in a number of shows this fall:  at the Salmagundi Club, the Hudson Valley Arts Association, The Audubon Artists and the Salmagundi Fall auctions. All three entries at the Auctions were sold.I also have two paintings at the Sands Point Preserve, Hempstead House Designer Showcase

Delighted to win an award at the Northeast Watercolor society Annual Juried show in Kent, CT which closed this past Sunday 

Also at Bear Mt Inn, the new Artists in the Park Fall exhibit and at the National Art League,  I hung work in the Teachers show, the Drawing Exhibition and current Members show.

Just hung, the Art Center Watercolor Affiliates, ACWA, exhibit "Visions in Watercolor" at the Gallery of the High Mt Presbyterian Church at 730 Franklin Lake Rd, Franklin Lakes, NJ

An exhibition of work by the teachers at the Art League Sept 6 thru the 28th. I have five paintings included in this show.

2014 Juried Art Exhibit & Saleat Rockland Center for the Arts to Benefit Volunteer Counseling Service Gay Pride Rockland

Very excited to have had three paintings included in this exhibition. "Raking" was sold and " Sunny Corner" was chosen Best in Show by the Curator.

Mary Ann Heinzen is a full time, Rockland County Artist working primarily in watercolor.

Her work has been exhibited throughout the New York, metropolitan area and has received awards from The National Association of Women Artists, The Salmagundi Club, New York City, National Art League in Douglaston, New York, and Best in Show at the Nassau County Museum of Art among others.

Ms. Heinzen works in both representational and abstract styles, where her use of light, contrast and color combine to create dynamic and bold visual statements.
